BLAZON
Shield.  Azure, a griffin rampant Or, clutching in dexter claw two lightning flashes saltirewise Argent, a chief Gules charged with a label Argent.

Crest.  From a wreath of the colors Or and Azure, a demi-torch enflamed Proper.

Supporters.  Behind the shield, two tridents Argent (Silver Gray) in saltire, tines upward.

SYMBOLISM
Shield.  The griffin represents command and also refers to U.S. Coast Guard aviation assets.  The lightning bolts are symbols of logic and language.  The label symbolizes protection, and the five notches represent command, control, communications, computers, and cyber capabilities.

Crest.
 The torch is a symbol of intelligence and the flame denotes constancy of C5I operations.

Supporters.  The tridents are symbolic of authority and power.  Their silver color is indicative of maritime safety and security.  

Seal.  The coat of arms as blazoned in full color on a circular white background, edged with a narrow gold border, enclosed by a dark blue designation band edged with a gold rope border, inscribed OFFICE OF C5I CAPABILITIES above and below, U.S. COAST GUARD between two small lightning flashes all in white.
